My name is Mark Cambridge aka Oakhill Wanderer.
I am based in Derbyshire, UK. The aim of this blog is to document my outings in the countryside, and to raise awareness of what the UK has to offer for hill walkers, campers, buschcrafters, and general outdoors folk.
My main interests are Hill Walking, Camping, and Bushcraft. I always pursue my outdoor interests with one of two people – my Fiance Clare, or my ‘Bushcrafting Buddy’ Steve (aka Silverhill Forge).
Clare prefers gentle walks, and commercial camping, while Steve and myself prefer bushcrafting and more energetic (technical) hillwalking.
Between the three of us, we undertake a wide variety of activities throughout each year, and it is my intention to document these from this point forwards.
